Elenique surged late to win the finale, giving jockey J.G. Torrealba the victory aboard trainer Patrick Biancone’s charge. A filly by Leinster out of our mare Cape Trios (by Cape Blanco, out of a mare by English Channel), Elenique is a testament to the pedigree we’ve built here at DeLuca and Sons Stables.
The win is a great moment for owners Amy E. Dunne, JSM Equine, and Brenda and Jean Wilkinson — and for us, proud to have bred this winner.
